3 days to go!

Phew! The last couple of days have been hectic as usual! This week my fantastic sister has given birth to her 2nd daughter, my little niece Hester. I managed to squeeze in a visit within her first few hours and she is just beautiful and I can't wait to see who she becomes!

So along with new family members I am also now in the possession of the Africa Goal Production camera and sound kit - At last!!!

We have 2 x Sony EX1s, 2 x radio mics, 1 x sound mixer plus boom, 1 x Manfrotto tripod and a vast number of cables and batteries! So tomorrow means dummy packing AGAIN and AGAIN!

Unfortunately it seems that the Zimbabwean Embassy in London is an inept as the one actually in Zimbabwe! We posted off our passports over a week ago to get Zim tourist visas and they are yet to arrive back here! EEEK! According to the Embassy last week, they have been stamped and just need to be posted, however according to the Embassy today they are in no rush to send them because the bank holiday means they have several more days to process them!!! Cutting it a tad fine I have to say! So if they don't prove to me they have been posted tomorrow then I shall have to drive up to collect them or get them couriered! £££!

Despite lack of passports though, we are very well organised and I have every confidence that this trip is not only going to be an adventure but also a total success!
